A traditional village house, it has been very nicely renovated by its Spanish owner, a local specialist in rural tourism. Furnish is modern and comfortable, yet nicely rustic in style, and the house is both neat and practical. It's an ideal holiday home for a family or group of friends who want to enjoy serene village life in the heartland of rural Andalucía

From the house you can enjoy the view over the Sierra Alcaide, and all around the surroundings of pretty Zagrilla are superb and unspoilt. The streets of the hamlet follow the ancient Arabic pattern, irregularly following the contours of the mountain range. Many of the villagers still do their washing at the communal "lavadero", an age-old tradition which involves simultaneous scrubbing and chatting over the ever-flowing, crystalline spring waters. In this wonderful landscape, peace is a word which readily comes to mind . . .

Zagrilla's location could hardly be better, as it is only ten minutes away from the lovely town of Priego de Cordoba. Apart from the wonderful countryside and delightful villages of the Subbética itself, the great historical cities of Córdoba and Granada are less than an hour away, and Sevilla is just another 30 minutes further.

In this typical country house are 4 bedrooms: one single bedroom, one double bedroom, and two twin bedrooms. There is a cosy living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
In the garden is a patio and barbacue pit.

How to get there
Desde CORDOBA Y MALAGA: Tomar la A-45 hasta la salida de la autovia LUCENA NORTE coger la autovia A-318 sentido CABRA y a unos 10 kms. tomar la carretera comarcal A-339 hasta PRIEGO DE CORDOBA. ANTES DE ENTRAR A PRIEGO tomar la carretera Local CO-8211 en dirección a ZAGRILLA BAJA. Atravesar Zagrilla Baja y tomar el siguiente cruce a la izquierda que nos conducirá hasta ZAGRILLA ALTA. Desde SEVILLA: Tomar la A-92 hasta la salida de ESTEPA- PUENTE GENIL. Tomar la A-318 hasta LUCENA. A partir de ahi seguir las indicaciones descritas arriba. Desde MADRID: Tomar la A-4 hasta BAILEN. Tomar la A-44 hasta JAEN. Tomar la A-316 sentido TORREDELCAMPO-ALCAUDETE hasta el cruce con la N-432 (carretera Granada-Córdoba-Badajoz). Girar a la Derecha sentido CORDOBA y a unos 5 kms. tomar el cruce que indica PRIEGO DE CORDOBA. Tomar la Carretera comarcal A-333 hasta PRIEGO DE CORDOBA y ANTES DE ENTRAR A PRIEGO tomar la carretera Local CO-8211 en dirección a ZAGRILLA BAJA. Atravesar Zagrilla Baja y tomar el siguiente cruce a la izquierda que nos conducirá hasta ZAGRILLA ALTA.
